This episode of The Unstarving Musician’s Podcast features yet another one of my good friends, Paul Kent. At the time of our conversation, Paul was on track to perform well over 100 gigs in 2017, which is his norm–and he gets paid well doing it.
He’s co host of the wildly popular Gig Gag Podcast, which is a podcast for working musicians. His eleven piece band, The Houserockers has been a San Francisco Bay area crowd pleaser for 17 years, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. He’s also among the smartest guys I know when it comes to building relationships and successful music collaborations.
But wait, there’s more. Paul is also co producer of Los Gatos Music in the Park, a South San Francisco Bay Area event that annually boasts thousands of attendees.
Needless to say, he’s knows a thing or two about business, marketing and live music performance.
I think you’re going to enjoy this conversation; but pay close attention, because Paul shares some extremely valuable insights for musicians. And without further adieu, please enjoy my conversation with Paul Kent.
